Curly hair, flower crowns and macramé
I know I am a bit biased when it comes to this photo shoot, but I cannot help myself! I could photograph her all day long! If you haven’t figured it out, this is my darling daughter Sophia – her friends call her Sophi but I still can’t quite pull that off. Sophia is the light in my life, she has made me laugh, cry, worry and always proud. She has a heart that is pure and she loves everyone and never ever judges anyone. She has always shared my love of art and crafty things. She is brilliant in ways that I never expected of my baby girl – her affinity to solve any Rubik’s cube still blows my mind. If she decides to learn a new songs on her guitar, she finds the sheet music, and just does it. Of course, I’m proud of everything she does, she is my daughter. She is the very best part of me, and yet becoming her own person right in front of my eyes.
I have been following her around like the paparazzi since she was only hours old, and only until just recently has she actually been a willing participant! We worked together (well mostly me) on making these flower crowns, picking out her outfits, and then spent hours at my studio doing a little fashion shoot. It wasn’t until I looked at the images on my screen that reality hit me. My baby girl is not a baby anymore. This week she turns 15 (yes, yes I was only 20 when I had her…)! . I cannot wait to see what the next 15 years have in store for her. Love you doll ???! Paula ?
