So in love.
I adore these two people. They are both beautiful , generous people who have been a very important part of my family’s life. Evie came into our life when our daughter was diagnosed with Autism, and has been a part of our journey ever since. It is hard for me to put into words all of the things they mean to us, although it shouldn’t be. They have fed us, taken our children so we can go on a vacation (more than once) they have opened their hearts and home to us over the past 12 years and I will be forever grateful. They are family to us. When we made the decision to move to Kamloops, telling Evie was one of the hardest parts – I valued the relationship she had invested in with Sophia for the last 10 years. I know Sophia would not be the young lady she is today without the dedication of this woman. And Ernie always accepted Sophia and his role with her was like a grandpa, she adored him and Evie’s Dad, Poppa.
I look at these two and see not only love, but the humour, understanding and effort that a real marriage requires. They inspire me.
